About the Journal:
Ilmu Kelautan (IK)/Indonesian Journal of Marine Sciences (IJMS) is dedicated to published highest quality of research papers and review on all aspects of marine biology, marine conservation, marine culture, marine geology and oceanography. Papers should report the results of original research and must not have been published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. IJMS is published four times a year in March, June, October and December.

Publishing Institution:
IJMS is published by Department of Marine Sciences of Diponegoro University, Semarang Indonesia. This department is one of six marine science departments which are established in 1987 in Indonesia which were funded by Asian Development Bank. It has 78 education staff which includes 13 PhD, 48 Master and 17 S1 degree. With 2 (two) campuses i.e. Tembalang Campus Semarang and Teluk Awur Campus and Laboratory at Jepara (beach side campus) it has approximately 600 students.
